The Types Of Ants And Their Roles

Ants are divided into three categories.

The queen is one of a kind, and her only goal is to have more and more ants.

She lays eggs for the rest of her life.

The male ants that mate only with the queen are the second type of ant, and this ant usually does not live that long.

The female worker ant is the third type of ant, and while she is unable to reproduce, she is responsible for building the mounds and supplying the community with food.

To live and rest, most ants construct a mound.

Many ants make mounds out of dirt or sand.

To make their homes stronger, some ants even use twigs.

Ants can be seen living in fallen leaves or trees.
